Character Modeling Thread.

Hey guys! :)
So, here is my problem. I have been doing blender for like 2 years now, from which about 1 or 1/2 year i've been taking it more seriously, since an animating / modeling job would be awesome.

Im 16 now, and at 18 i hope to go to to an animation school (online or in person)
anyway... Now i would like to master modelling. I finished blenderella, lots of other tutorials and i think i 'got it' now.

Now i just need practise, so here is my idea.

If you guys could submit 'blueprints' for simple characters, i would try and make them in blender and post them here. From then you guys could critique me.

I was dreading car modeling from the start, but after completing one car, I now feel a lot more comfortable with it.

I'm trying to model a Bugatti Veyron. So far I've only done the shell.

As you can see, I'm having some trouble in lining up the windows with the car frame accurately.

This is a fully textured model with a few small things still to be added like plants and rubble, but most of it is complete. I have a problem with the lighting, I added just normal point lamps so it can be seen, but I want to get the effect of sunlight shining through the windows sort of that late afternoon feel with dust floating around. Only problem is I need help getting that does anyone know how to do that?

And I am still learning this is my first project without the help of tutorials etc so if you have any advice on look or textures any critique actually I would greatly appreciate it.

Old Camera CHINON M-1

Hi guys
I'm working on a model of camera chinon M-1 (it was made by few other brands).
I was fascinated by a new bmesh feature, so it is a kind of a test.
I have done most of modeling parts. Need to work on dials (they have some kind of "tooths"... sorry for my english ^^), chamfering edges, make logo on front and some stuff with door for film on sides of the body.
I made few shaders but it wasn't good shot xP.

Extremely new to blender here lol, a friend and I are working on a game so I am trying to get better at modeling weapons and such. I know it isn't perfect nor is it finished but I like how its turning out so far. I'd love some feedback and tips on how to improve it and my skills

Very first project

Hi all, I'm new to blender and so far I think its amazing. A very complete piece of software with a ever growing community around it.
I decided to try and learn how to use it and this is my first little project. The idea is to get a convincing and realistic piece of chocolate. I have seen several tutorials and reference pictures. The modeling its simple for starters. Later on I plan to add a more complex scene with wrapping and such. So far this is it.

LED Animation Progress

I've been working on a short animation project for several months now, and I am itching to share some of my work. I plan to finish it in another month or so, and it will be a few minutes long.
The junkyard scene has over half a million faces in it, and takes about a minute to render at half HD resolution. Every scene I make looks better than the last one, so I am learning.

Titanic with cycles
