Thank very much. I like to create renderings with some stylisation

.
And Thank you again for the very good work you Do (you and Maxime) with Freestyle !
The more I use Freestyle, the more I like it !
it's very powerfull.

This is not possible at the moment, and IMHO this is a major weakpoint of
the current implementation of the renderer. I hope we will be able to improve
the edge detection algorithm to find edges at intersections of meshes.

I totally agree with you : I think it's a Major weakpoint, and when it will be implemented, this will be very excellent

!

AFAIK there is no such maximum distance (in fact, the renderer does not
respect the clipping settings of the active camera, and I would say this
should be fixed in the future). With a very simple test scene, I have
successfully rendered a cube that is at a distance of 2000+ Blender units
from the camera (the contour.py style was used).

In fact, I have tried with a style with depth, I think it's because of that. The rendering is really long, but, when I make the render by elements, I can render it (my new picture is made like that, rendering on several pass, by elements (character, ship1, ship far, building near, building far....).
I have seen that when I do 2 rendering with the same Final size, but not the same % of the size, I have differents lines, which is very interesting :
1600*1200 & 50% size >>The line are bigger
3200*2400 & 25% size >> the line are thiner
So a new picture (not finished), with a character and the same Ship and Building, but anotehr color and compositing for the color.
All the line are made with Freestyle (no post-prod no retouch on the line) : I think it's a very good example of what Style and line I'm looking (just I would love to have some intersection line

) :
The Two other guys are just here to see the Scale of the Ship.
The line only (Freestyle Power !!) :
The module Style is the style found on vimeo Made by TK (thank you again Tamito very for this style which is excellent too !).
The Big Ship is rendering with the option : Ridges and valleys.
the size is 1600*1200 (50%), except for some of the elements (building) which is 3200*2400 (25%).
