Panda3D vs BGE

Had a look at Panda3D, and it seems they too are getting normal mapping features.
Because it uses python as it’s coding language, I was wondering if it is better to invest my time on Panda3D or BGE.
Any comments on the two engines?

Just look at the screens on the site. Thanks for mentioning it

BGE has gotton some serious logic upgrades in just the past few weeks, I’m certain it’ll probably get optimized as the Apricot team starts testing on different computer setups.

had a look at the site , the engine looks cool , have anyone used it before ?

If panda3d is opensource someone should be able to merge them and litterary take the best from two worlds and make a better GE

Or even better, mixing BGE,Crystal Space,Panda3d,JMEmonkey (i think it calls like this), Cryengine 2 and RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) plus with Natural Motion

THAT will be a great engine

A good name like “AGEMATBGECSP3dJMEC2RAT !” (An Game Engine Much Awsomer Than Blender Game Engine,Cristal Space,Panda 3d,JMEmonkey,Cryengine 2,Rage All Together !"

Now that is one hell of a name! I just think it would be hard to get the name around…lol. I’ll start right away on that.

How long did it take you to think of “AGEMATBGECSP3dJMEC2RAT!” lol
