Add / Remove Panel / Editor

Hi all,

This is a question I’ve wrestled with ever since I first started working with Blender.

On rare occasion that I add another panel ( frame for editing ) to the interface, which is quite easy to do by hovering the mouse over the hash at the lower left corner of an existing panel and then dragging out the panel, I find that it is not so easy to then remove that panel.

So, my question is how do I remove that panel / frame once I do not need it and want to free the screen space for panels that I do need? This must be as simple as adding the panel but I have been unable to figure it out.

Thanks for your help.

You just do the reverse. Drag the corner of the window back into its neighbour

Wow, it was just as easy as I expected. :o I was dragging back to the lower left corner and it did not work. Now I see just how simple thank you for the video link as well it made it perfectly clear.
