Tutorial: Render Solid Wire-Frames In Blender Under 5 min

So I know this has been done quite a-lot, but I wanted to make a quick version that starts from the default scene and ends up in a decent wire-frame render, making sure the material setup is first (30 sec into video).

Here is the result of 5 minutes. (Material setup ends at 2 min) (The rest is lighting and backdrop)
(DO NOT need to duplicate the mesh)

Cool. Another way to skin a cat! I like it. Straight forward.

Only comment I have is when working on a model watch out. If you extrude an edge after this wire material was applied you are going to get black face! New face color is the wire color.

Good point ridix.

To fix the black face thing, just press A-Key to select all the verticies on editmode like I showed in the video and click assign making sure the “Solid” material is selected.

Hi DDD, now i know how to make the wire renders, i wont annoy you any more by making the (easy) mistake lol.
