I’m finally back messing with Blender after a few months of random programming and such. In the meantime I’ve been playing some Minecraft and decided to recreate it in Blender. It’s all done in about 3-4 hours in total so not a long time.
So, here is my first ‘completed’ video. I’m currently not aiming at perfect animation, just how the character deforms.

After I’ve finished that vid I went on fixing and tweaking stuff. At first the body and head were separate parts, I merged them for better usage. The torso now consists of two bones, an upper one and the lower one.
Bone setup:

I unfortunately haven’t fixed the eyes. They were in separate objects parented to the head. It worked fine but after the merge it’s kinda hard to parent them to the whole body as the head will move etc. Any ideas on how to make them?

I fixed the eyes and tried to animate a bit more. I’m currently quite happy with the rig. New animation made too :D.
