Greatings from Poland!
My name is Rafał (don’t even try to say it!) im known as Cent but someone stole my nickname (I’ll find you :slight_smile: )
Today Im gonna show you my PzKpfw V Panther, In my opinion it’s the most beautiful WWII tank. I’ve started working at this model in November 2012 and I’ve done anything since then. But now im gonna try once again.

Final scene will looks like that (more or less)

real time render in cycles. Normal maps are almost done but still there is a lot of work to be done.
Now im gonna use 3d studio max to do a few things (coz im gonna learn it)

That is indeed a good-looking tank, and you’ve made a good model of it!

I’d aim for that gap right above the treads. :smiley:

Tracks still doesn’t looks like in real panther… Ill fix it soon.
Little update. I don’t know why but when I use Render button blender stops working. Only real time rendering works.

Love it! Tracks look very good.

very nice modelling

only thing
should do a version with some rust around it looks too brand new

show us some wireframes of the model

first wheel has epic wireframe (because of convert from splines (or if you like: curves) to mesh)

I had to remake geometry once again (even twice). originally it was ausf. A model. but then I realized that ausf. G would be better. So i remodeled It. But then I noticed i did it wrong. Now it looks like that.

I find myself wondering how hard it would be to export your track links to some kind of physical product for modellers.

Excellent work so far, keep it up! I have a T-34 that I started on . . . but it’s downright embarrassing compared to this. :slight_smile:
