I did a for of the official 3DCoat applink.
I fixed many bugs and did many improvements.

Features:

  • Set the “Exchange” folder of 3DCoat manually.
  • Custom Textures Path for export/import.
  • Export/Import through Obj/Fbx/Collada(Dae) formats. Note: Collada does not work on Linux.
  • ExportMaterials, ApplyModifiers checkboxes.

mifth, thx for addon. I wonder is there a way to export spec map from vertex painting in 3d coat, to blender without UV’in mesh and making lowpolly version. Would be great if diff, and spec vertex color from 3dc were imported as 2 separate vertex colors into blender.

Try to import fbx/collada. Will it import vertex colors? In other way you need to ask the 3dcoat developer.
