[wip] my take on music visualization

ahoy blenderheads

i’ve been planning this a long time: I wanted to see what you could do music visualization wise with blender. Exploring this I came up with the following (still a wip!):

I didnt use the bake-sound-to-f-curve, but did everything manually. using the action offset addon and the wave modifier i was able to automate some things though. i also used a lot of custom properties and drivers.
It’s rendered in cycles (turned everything GI off) and the rendertime is about at 1,3 seconds per frame. Dont know if it was a good decision to use cycles, but now i gotta stick with it.

I’ll gladly give more insight, if there’s interest.

More updates to come.

the song is ‘i could never be a dancer’ by yuksek.

Good work! I like it for the animation and the music.

hey, thank you, i didnt even see that someone answered here :).

i have a new wip below, criticism is very welcome. i have very few things i still want to Change, however after those i would be finished. thanks
