Move object to specified coordinates

How can I move an object (i.e. sphere) to a specific set (x,y,z) of global coordinates? Thanks

Press P to show the properties panel. Input the objects X, Y and Z position

If you want fast change position, you can move for a specyfic value press G and start type from keyboard X value TAB, Y value TAB, Z value, and press Enter. Hope it helps

P as a shortcut makes sense (is that your customized shortcut for it, Richard?), but I think the default shortcut key is still N to bring up the properties toolshelf, or panel, or sidebar, region etc. thingy…

You can also finf them in the object properties panel:
