Video Sequence Editor - Joining Video/Audio

I’ve split a big video clip into multiple clips and want to join them. The only way I know how to do this is to tediously select a video/audio pair with shift-left click and then click g to move them next to the other audio/video pair. Is there a hotkey I can use to select all the clips and automatically join them?

Backspace key removes gaps.

Thanks for the reply! I don’t see that option in the strip menu:

Do I need to use it in concert with the backspace key? I selected all the clips and hit the backspace key but it didn’t do anything.

I don’t see the remove gaps option:

I tried following these directions but couldn’t get it to work.

I’m using Blender 2.66a.

The solution was upgrading to Blender 2.71. I can now use the remove gaps feature.
