I’m having an issue with a video I’m trying to render out. Initially this seemed to be working well so I must’ve tripped some setting somewhere accidentally.
I’m rendering out a VSE project which is made up of 720p 60fps clips. Ideally I’d like to be able to cut that down to 30fps to make uploading to Vimeo a bit smoother but that’s not my big problem.
My main issue is that the project renders out to 5 GB for 3m30s of video.
Looking at my output settings I cant see an obvious cause . I’m using the h.264 preset settings. I’ve tried a few others but it doesn’t seem to make much difference.
Do you have the start frame and end frame set correctly?
For 720P, do you have resolution x: 1280 and y: 720? and 100%
Below is a snapshot of my settings. Maybe in comparing your setup and mine you will be able to find the error.
