I am in the conceptual stage of a spec commercial I’ll be shooting in the next few months, I hope. The commercial will involve several VFX shots, namely having a car sprout a giant pink balloon from its roof (think something akin to the balloons atop the house in the Pixar film UP), lifting the car up off the ground, floating it through the air, and then landing it on a street corner.
I’m pretty proficient in general compositing using After Effects, but tend to lack in the photoreal 3D CGI side of things. I’m looking for someone who would be interested in working with me on the project and hoping to get quotes on what the work would cost. Happy to discuss it individually in more detail (re: # of shots, etc.).
