Where did the node tree go? In the node editor window.

I zoomed and out and out, the node tree is nowhere to be found:-?

How can I find a node tree when it disappears?

If you have one or more nodes selected, hit the numpad period button to view the selection. If nothing is currently selected, hit the A key to select all, then numpad period.

Make sure that you are in the material view, and not in the world view:
