HighPoly Model to Low Poly model + textures

I hate making low poly models and even worst i hate to draw textures for them is ther some wey( any other program is acceptable too) when i make high poly model and color it can i just port it to low poly and take color from it.

example make high poly man render whitout shadows and use thet for textures and then create low poly and past thet textures on him?

One thing you could try is using the “multiresolution” modifier on your model. This will essentially allow you to subdivide your model, and move back and forth between the high and low poly versions of the model. This technique is mainly used in sculpting.

The way I tend to use it is:

  1. make the low poly model (basic shape)

  2. mark the seams on the low poly model

  3. add multiresolution modifier

  4. duplicate the model, and move the low poly model to a different layer

  5. subdivide the new model to make it high poly

  6. sculpt model

  7. paint textures onto the high poly model

  8. bake textures and normals to low poly model

  9. profit.
