Double circle created with MESH > CIRCLE

Hey people.

Finally got down to learning Blender, really enjoying it, nice learning experience.

I have one problem that keeps popping up at times. When I want to create a circle, I get a double circle like in the image below. I SHIFT + A, from MESH, I choose CIRCLE.

I cant, for example, delete just one, its like its one object. If I start a blank blender page, it displays the circle properly, what am I doing wrong?

Please help.

Thank you.

Its got something to do with the model I’m currently busy with, its got mirroring in it. For example, if I tab out and enter object mode, deselect my current model and then create a new mesh circle, it then creates the circle without a problem. Will just look at the settings more closely.

1.You’re in edit mode
2.It’s one circle that’s being mirrored by the mirror modifier.
