Ganesha (Khmer style - Thailand)

I have got a huge collection of sculptures and art pieces from all over the the world. This time I was inspired by an old Ganesha sculpture.
Lord Ganesh symbolizes: Wizdom, happiness and intelligence.
I hope you like it

Great! Looks real !

Wow. Great job. I thought this was going to be a reference photo.

Steve S

Wonderful shader  if possible can you show the node? 5 stars granted

Amazing render!!
Love your sculpting, and shaders.

Many many thanks
Here are the nodes for the Bronze shader… I also used 2 image textures from CG textures… one for the “blue patina” and one for the glossy Bronze part.

Impressive…very nice aged bronze shading effect, looks like just a photograph

I thought it was real at first. Great model!

Incredible!

Attributes as “Col” = dirt vertexpainting set. The more important.
You could add a coloramp there, to control it.
Well done.

Many thanks. yeah will try that… I’m just creating shader by trying different things out… Actually I still got no clue what I’m doing LOL… I just stop when I think it looks good enough LOL

Very cool!

Wonderful work. The sculpting, shader and the lighting are in harmony.

I started with a cube…

Many thanks

great sculpt!

Really top notch work. I was looking at your node set up and noticed you used a gamma node before going into the displacement… just curious as to the reason for doing this?

That is some awesome sculpting… but that shader is just “WOW!”

Love it and well earned top row highlight

@hurleynut97 I use gamma to control the strength of he bump…I think there also other ways to get the same result… But I’m pleased with the “gamma” method

Many thanks guys
