Does anyone know of a well explained guide to setting up my own render farm based these 4 computers — how to set up anything for it to work?
ok first off, nvidia has nothing to do with intel. nvidia makes graphicscards and Intel makes processors, also knows as GPU and CPU. and saying “nvidia pcs” does not really make a lot of sense either.
nvidia is competing against AMD witch also makes GPUs, and the price is fairly similar. you get mostly same power per buck.
and setting up a renderfarm is a complex prosess, you should probably do some research. you have to set up a cluster, and i think you have to use a software for that.
