Hot Air Balloons - seeking critiques

Attached is a render of my first original Blender scene not based on a specific tutorial or photo. The scene is based on a memory of watching from my back yard as a few hot air balloonists enjoyed a late summer evening floating up the Mississippi River valley.
I would like comments regarding the artistry of the scene. For example, how can the composition be improved or how would you change the lighting to simulate the hour before dusk?
I know the balloons lack baskets, so no need to point that fact out.
Thanks for the comments.

hi
cool balloons,
it’s hour before dusk so the light should be more orange and your water could use waves and maybe foam(its a river).
maybe more details on the ground(trees, grass?)

the nylon looks a bit too shinny

move the glossy shader up 0.1 or 0.15 do dull it down a bit

I have increased the amount of orange in my light source and it does look better. I will post a new version when I have worked out the river and hill textures. I have had difficulty with both and will keep trying different techniques.

I did as you suggest. Your post reminded me that when tweaking the different nodes in cycles textures, I need to remember the actual material that I am trying to create, not just the look in the picture.
Very helpful.
