[Royalty]The Perfect Score, 3D Co-Op Game : 3D Modeler, 2D Artist, and Texture Artist

Dragonwall Studios is a new indie game studio.

Dragonwall is currently working on an ambitious project with many areas of interest.

This project is rev-share which means that depending on the profit raised by our crowd funding and publication, team members will be compensated.

The Project:

The game consists of a daring cooperative heist experience set in the modern era. Players will team up with others to take on challenging security systems and work together to pull off incredible robberies. Player specializations and thief guilds will also be an integral part of the game. Not a MMO, multiplayer experiences will only occur on specialized instances in a co-op mode. There may also be a single player story campaign but the focus will be on the unique gameplay.

Who We Need:

3D Modelers and 2D Artists are in strong demand.

Requirements:

1. Rev-share model is acceptable
2. Committed and focused
3. Experience with working with other team members cooperatively
4. Readiness to work in the artistic genre, see role. (Artists)
5. Able to communicate in English

Role:

Modelers and artists are expected to create a modern environment including, but not limited to, cities , interior of buildings, and UI. We are also looking for artists experienced in creating organic models , i.e humans. Due to the common environment many assets will be able to be reused and recycled easily throughout the game. Game Progress:

The game is currently in the design and brainstorming process. The GDD is completed and some simulations and test scripts have been written as well. Join to have an active hand in the game from the very beginning! This game will continue to have a strong lead and focus.

The Project:

The game consists of a daring cooperative heist experience set in the modern era. Players will team up with others to take on challenging security systems and work together to pull off incredible robberies. Player roles will also be an integral part of the game. Not a traditional MMO, multiplayer experiences will only occur on specialized instances. Players will be able to turn on their own team members. An unique feature of the game will be that the game defenses will evolve as more and more players break into them mimicking real life. Players will constantly be testing their skills in a ever advancing world. The game will be online based not just by your team but through the whole world. Players will need to beat stealing the items with their team faster than other teams to gain the prize.

Who We Need:

We need a 3D Modeler and Texture Artist. A 2D Artist is also needed. Once the game starts generating revenue this money will be split among the team after server costs and other game maintenance costs are covered.

Who We Have:
Our team currently consists of five people. We are using the powerful Unreal Engine 4 game engine.

1 Website Creator
1 Game Designer and Programmer
1 Level Designer

Requirements for 3D Modeler:

  1. Experience with the 3D tool of your choice
  2. Committed and focused
  3. Experience with working with other team members cooperatively
  4. Know the general abstract workflow for game development, especially with Unreal Engine.
  5. Preferred experience in UV mapping and texturing models but not necessary
  6. Able to communicate in English
  7. Comfortable with creating assets for the game style: Indoor Scenes consisting of objects found in museums, casinos, banks, etc.

Requirements for 2D Artist:

  1. Experience with creating UI and Posters promoting products
  2. Committed and focused
  3. Communicate in English and work with team members cooperatively

Requirements for Texture Artist:

  1. Familiarity with UV unwrapping and the workflow used for creating textured models for games
  2. Familiar with Physical Based Rendering - Metal/Roughness Output Textures
  3. Software to create textures in collaboration with the 3D Modeler and 2D Artist and then make sure they appear correctly on the model.
  4. Knowledge of Base Color, Roughness, and Metallic maps

Role:

3D Modelers will be expected to create props consisting of things you would see in a museum, bank, casino, etc. We will have a modern art style with lots of interior focus but there will be some outdoor scenes in the city as well. If this sounds like your cup of tea let us know!

2D Artists will be expected to create UI , promotional posters, and possibly collaborate with the Texture Artist.

The Texture Artist will be expected to work effectively with the 3D modeler and use his or her texturing tools to texture the 3D models provided by the 3D Modeler. Knowledge of UV maps and various texturing techniques will be needed.

Game Progress:

The game is well on the road to success. Over 60 hours have been put in from the team and initial environments and characters have been set up. We have a solid idea of where this game is heading. We are set to post for Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter in the coming months and are prepared to see this project through. Update 5/27/2016:
Hi guys, game has progressed in development over the couple months. We are looking for a Concept Artist , and a 3D Modeler.

Concept Artist:
The Concept Artist will be expected to provide drawings to either promote the game or for resources for development. Please send your portfolio if you are interested.
3D Modeler:
The 3D modeler will be responsible for creating assets among various areas such as casinos, banks, and museums. Lots of these assets will be generic and reused across the game while some will be more unique. An experience with tools such as the Substance Suite is preferred but not required. An experience with the PBR workflow , texturing, and UV mapping is strongly preferred among candidates as well, but again not a strict requirement. We prefer modelers to have experience with low poly and high poly modeling as well as baking normal maps.
