Hi,
i have several machines tested with the actual Blender 2.77a and the Benchmark-Animation from ist downloadsection (black sheep and redhead guy). With the SystemRAM of at least 16GB as recommended and Rendering on CPU everything is good but slow.
So I switched to the Titan as CUDA/GPU Rendering and after a While u get whether a out-of-Memory Crash or the VRAM is filled to at least 90% but the Rendering wont start.
The Hangup happens on a 5960x with 16GB and the Out-of-Memory happens on a Dual Xeon SB-E with 64GB Samsung ECCreg. The Titans are all @ stock and the VideoDrivers are the latest. I have also tried only one Titan as “addon” and the onboard Video from the DualXeon as Primary Adapter.
Both Machines run Win7profSP1 with all updates installed, that M$ offers. SSDs are also installed and the PSUs have at least 1kW and are not NoName (Enermax, Corsair)
If there is a General Problem with this blend-file please tell me oder Point in the right direction please.
