Collision between ropes and self-collision

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to make a simulation with two ropes but I’m having a collision and self-collision problem. Can anybody show me what I’m doing wrong?

Can you even use collision with curves? I think you’ll have to convert them to a mesh, though I might be wrong.

However, I noticed you don’t have anything set up in the physics tab. Maybe if you play with some settings there you’ll get lucky.
