Sequencer Result Overexposed

Hi All,

I’m running into a problem while rendering out a video using the video editing sequencer (which I’m very new to so may be missing something obvious…)

I’ve got a simple sequencer setup where one image fades into a pre-rendered image sequence using a cross strip (then fades back using the reverse). The result looks fine in the preview window, but when rendered out as AVI JPG the video comes out overexposed (see attached screenshot, most noticable on white component at the bottom). Can anyone help me fix this? I’ve not changed any of the default settings in colour management, or have anything in the compositor (which is disabled).

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Ben

Have you tried any other formats besides avi?

No just avi so far - you think it might be a format issue? Can try others when I get chance on Monday, but would be good to get avi working properly if I can.

Yeah I’d double check with rendering out a frame or image sequence in jpeg, just to see. Could be a codec issue.
