Adobe After Effects.

Cg-Hi,

Well, Is it possible to export blender objects to after effects. I know that you can export it to a jxs.
But it seems it is useless.

Is it possible to use blender like a sort of 3d element plugin?

Until I know (sure someone knows more):

  1. The only program that can import blender files is… Blender.
  2. That’s why Blender can export in various formats. The most commun, waveform (object)
  3. After effects is not a 3d program. Then you could need a plugin like “Video copilot 3D Elemnt” to import the 3d model in waveform format.
There’s a free plugin for after effects, but sadly I don’t remember the name. But I remember the problem with that plugin were you need a very, very low poligony model to make it work.
But not all is lost. If you have Photoshop CS6+ Extended and a very good graphic card, you can do it like is show in this video:

there are different plugins available for getting an After Effects<>Blender pipeline working.
