I met a video on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWYINDkWBs4 (Using SpeedTree to Match Concept Art), which shows how to control the branch to fit the desired shape. Is there an easy way to do that in blender?

Nothing out there even comes close to speed tree, and definitely nothing in Blender.
