I noticed a lot of the times I am not able to convert GP to curves… any ideas why this might be?
Ensure you have set the grease pencil data source to ‘Scene’ and not to ‘Object’
Supply a demo blend file where you cannot convert it
Ah, you need to be in Object Mode!
I am using blender 2.77 on the left tools panel on grease pencil tab
I select under tools: convert to and select curve type and it works
oh yeah and object mode guess that what was missing
It works, but after conversion to Bezier, it creates these lines between the strokes…

Which obviously makes me sad, it would really slow-down my workflow if I had to delete them all everytime…
at the bottom left of the tools
uncheck link strokes

In File / User Preferences / Editing, ensure you have ‘Global Undo’ enabled
