Mr. Elephant

Here is my latest work, Mr. Elephant - a 3D rendering of an image form old children’s book I made in Blender years ago.

Great work!!! Excellent detail of female rat in Vermeer paint. Congratulations

Very great work, thanks for sharing. And it is a real funny with the name Mr.Elephant for a mouse and vice versa : )

Really nice! Are these your characters or are they from an existing kid’s book?

Love it. Great stuff.

They are my characters from an existing kids book I wrote and illustrated.

The work is very good. However, the fireplace texture bothers.
This type of ‘tile’ isn’t used on slopes.
I suggest something raw concrete!

What do you mean by slopes?

Absolutely fantastic! Pixar quality right there… Top Row?

Thanks Paul.

Excellent work!

Here’s an update. Fur added and other details. All Photoshop at this stage

Wonderful!

Thanks for a great scene. I’m using this to try and understand 2.8. I noticed the fire originates with particles but cant find the particle emitter or the smoke domain. Its really useful that 2.8 shows a tool icon associated with an object. I wish it would also show there is a particle emitter or physics associated with it
