Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I don’t know if it’s something I don’t understand, or if it’s a common sense “can’t be done” answer, but I’d appreciate a quick answer on a simple question.
I’m playing about with the fluid dynamics of Blender, getting some good results, but if I change anything (for example the initial velocity of the fluid), I’m having to recreate the domain in order to rebake.
Now I appreciate it could be a case of the calculations of the fluids are ‘baked’ and as such can’t be changed, but at the moment I’m creating simple ‘box’ domains which can easily be recreated. I’m wondering how mad I’m going to get if I create a more complicated domain and bake the wrong settings only to realise I need to change a few things.
Have I learnt something incorrectly or do I need to recreate the domain each time?
