    How do I save my rendered image?

    NOOB here. can someone please detail the process of saving a render in blender? Thanks,

    Render your image, then press F3 (or go under file, and click save image). Locate where you want to save your image on the top bar (to the right of the P button). This may take a while if you aren't familiar with your computer. after you do that, type the name you want to give your image on the bar underneath. Click the big Save JPEG button to the right of the top bar, and the image should be saved where you told it to. Hope that helped!

    And what I did when I first found Blender, was to step carefully through the whole introduction section. Many terms may not click right away, but it does give a very good procedural overview of the key elements.

    FYI as of 2.41 I think, Blender will automatically add the extension to your pictures.
