Hi all!  Some weeks ago I started thinking about how good would it be for our blender fellows (who don't understand spoken english well enough as to follow slikdigit's explanations) to get the FAQ into their native language. However, voice re-recording demands a lot of work. So, I decided it all can start by just getting the subtitles for the whole DVD in English. After that, any particular/localized community can take those files and start working on translating (or even re-recording) them into their native language (I think that way is easier than directly from the videos) .So, here it is: 50% of the time (criteria is filesize of audio-only files ) is already written down. Until now, I've been working hard on it, so that more people want to join the project - I hope 50% of the texts already worked out are enough to get more people involved. Since I'm quite busy right now, my plans are to slow down and work ocassionally on the rest of the files (2 per week, at most). I'm asking anyone interested to email me so we can get it done as soon as possible. Right now, I've contacted slikdigit and Dripstone. Slikdigit liked the idea and I sent him some files a week ago, and dripstone is already wanting to help. Here's the global plan:

Great Idea. I wanna help. With the texts in English I can translate it to "Brazilian Portuguese" easily.

@Duranial: I also hope that  @Joseph1337 & @TABASCO: At this point, texts aren't completely ready to start translating. But if you want to look at them and decide for yourself, I can upload a copy of them. I know that this is kind of an old thread but I was wondering how is the progress so far for the translations, I noticed that somebody offered to translate to Brazilian Portuguese, and I'm also brazilian and pretty good with english, so I'd like to offer my help with that translation.
