Here is my newest 'Mech, the Razorback. Still working on getting the proportions right. Main reference comes from the closing credits of MechCommander2.

Looking good. The green looks a little too bright to me. Maybe tone it down a bit. And the grey on the feet looks too grey and not whiteish like in the picture. Keep up the good work.

Thx Dudebolt. Those colours are placeholders for the time being. I would like to take a more reaistic approach to the paint job if I can bring my texturing skills up to par. I am imagining the whiteish areas as bare metal and the green as an olive drab pintjob.

The edges look a little sharp. Did you try adding a subsurf modifier? It looks freakin' aside from the bright solid colors and the sharp edges. Very nice. It would look really good with some good textures.

Thanks AC3 3512. I've noticed that as well. I think it's particularily prominent on the back. I may just add some more verts near the edges and give some of the square corners some bevelling. Heres a pic of it with more deatail and a rear view. The figure at the 'Mech's feet is a duplcate of the pilot in the cockpit for size comparison. Ignore the terrible exterior lighting, but other comments including the red interior lighting are welcome!

Well I have begun some texture work and man do I need practice. Using the tutorial here: http://vimeo.com/1377005. My texturing looks very flat and also highlights the seams way too much. Any thoughts?

Hey could i get hold of this model.
I am wanting to try making a mechwarrior style game with battletech mechs like the madcat razorback etc. and this would be a great place to start.
