Hey!
I made a video tutorial on how to make Tangent normal maps in blender using the new SVN.
Link to tutorial:
http://rapidshare.com/files/75599088...ender.rar.html

If you want to try out this new feature go build your own SVN or download an already build one here:

This has to be one of the clearest Blender tutorials I've ever seen. Well done ikee.

Excellent video tutorial- it was nice seeing how to do this, and the technical details of how it works.

It would be great if it is in a different server than this as some people have no reach to rapidshare such as myself .

If you can upload it to youtube it would be great as well, though that will result in degraded video quality.

Thanks.

I would love to see it but, every time I download it the file is empty or corrupt. No other downloading issues anywhere else. Is there another place to download the file? Thanks.

Well, if i upload it to youtube it would be hard to see what buttons i really use because of the resolution. If you have any other place i can upload it i would gladly do it

Yes, YouTube is sometimes hard to see, especially when I am in a bad eyesight day like today. Nevertheless one can download it locally (Firefox extensions) and then see it full screen: I was able to follow the whole Dragonrose series like that.

Otherwise ShowMeDo is great but I don't know their conditions.

Well uploaded it but ur not able to see the text on the buttons...
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...29222024&hl=en

about it being corrupted.. donno why you get that message but when i download it it doesn't give any errors when unpacking. Try selecting one of the other servers.

That's awfully neat. Once I download that build, I'll try it out.

You can use stage6 - its free but you have to download some uploading software. Great resolution and its a divx. To send the link to other people you just have to copy the embed file and look for the .divx url and copy and past it to the forum. That way they can download it from the site
