update history:
-game - 2.43 Regression files
-game - 2007 physics contest entries
-game - realtime stuff from Mike Pan
-game - Zark 1 and 2 by Plantperson

Games/demos listed first. For tutorials, scroll down until you see a break in the post. If something of yours is listed here and you don't want it to be, go suck a lemon. PM me if anything is broken. I am at the post limit, so those wanting to make the cut must first pass cold hard judgement. Almost all tutorials will be listed and will displace items in the game list, since there's barely ever any complete games. Almost every game listed has screens available on their site. My favorites have emoticons after their names.

GAMES & DEMOS

Blengine's old demo files(best played in 225)
-Fighting game camera script
-Camera stretch by delayed parenting fixed
-Car sim(turning in reverse, tires turning, wheels spinning)
-Realtime compass
-Custom keyboard controls, and player can save/load custom configs
-Fade away(fade in and out sounds/music depending on location)
-Glass
-Grass 1
-Grass 2
-Health scenes(health property remains the same when switching scenes)
-Jack Rack(script to split long strings into readable paragraph form)
-Laser beams(shooting lasers with depleating energy bar)
-Path script(enemy follows char through a maze)
-Race laps(counting laps in a game)
-Rrain
-Rooftops(the roof disappears while in a house so you can look in)
-Save/Load script(user friendly save load scripts, saves positions/rotations/ and properties)
-RGB Sliders 1
-RGB Sliders 2 w/alpha channel
-Speedometers(gear shifting, down shifting, graphics display)
-the original toonShader - faking realtime toon shading(not outline)
-Track It(camera changes to track to new object)

I'm working on it, because blendergames is offline now forever. The new blender games page will be on Blended Reality with even tutorials, sources, games, online runtimes and much more. For a beta layout check the beta frontpage (only a frontpage) http://home.hetnet.nl/~jdvhulst/beta/index.html Read more about it in the Blendergames death?
the orginal link will be http://home.hetnet.nl/~jdvhulst/ or http://www.blendedreality.cjb.net :P

Hey hey hey ! what's this ?! wiseman's Shoot'em ?!?! i object !!! it was BrainStorm Studios Shoot'em - i think i had somthing to do with that game... theres no appritiation for 3d artists these days, even in the communitiy. There for the entry should be changed to "Shoot'em by BSS team" (and you can add wiseman303, blender_owl and koby).

Good day,
KOBY.

dont get your panties in a knot... this is why i encourage feedback

im not gonna study each game to make sure all my info is correct, im a very busy business man in this high tech know-nothing know-it-all world.. i simply dont have time to double check when i have so much planning to do for world domination..

Just wanted to let you know that there are already a number of resources in the Game Blender Developer Tools thread. I think it would make more sense to have just games in this thread and continue adding tutorials and other things to other thread. I could always rename it to something else. My thoughts.

Actually Al_capone worked on shoot'em as well, and he deserves credit too.

I've also got a few small games and demos at http://wiseman303.dyndns.org/b3d/

EDIT: changed url for my website

aww shit, i coulda sworn i check out your whole thread and didnt see any tutorials =\ geez i musta been blind that day.. i already knew you had resources thats why i only have 4 at the bottom of this thread cause theyre pretty cool ones 8)
sure your idea sounds good, but would be great if you could throw in the word "tutorial" in your topic name somehow cause i wouldnt expect to see tutorials in "game blender developement tools"... tutorials arent really tools
ill take all these tutes off this list after you copy them on over

hey wait a minutes.. you barely have any actual gameblender tutorials, and none of them are actually for blender, lol... i did all the hard work digging up these chumpies and now i have to hand them over?.. that doesnt seem fair, what will i get in return besides a stiff, cold, torq shoulder

edit::
oooo, i think your texture painting tute links are thanks enough!!
i wouldnt mind an "updated 5/30.. thanks to blengine for digging up our first actual gamblender tutorial links" though, or something similar

Are there any tutorials for making a walkthrough, I've seen the example on Blender3d.com and wanted to do something like. I've worked with Blender quite a bit, just not with the game engine. Thanks.

uhh whoever made that breakout game (steve i think it was), i found a little glitch. you can repeatidly press enter over and over again so it will never even touch the paddle and you won't ever lose. just a little notice.

I loved the original Monkey Island games, so I downloaded the above 'monkey Island 5'
It's excellent, good shadows & lighting.
It's not quite as good as the last 'monkey island' game,
but it's very very very good.
I imagine ten animators worked for a year on the last Monkey Island game.
I would love be able to create something similar myself.
The download is a 5Mb blender file.
Good because you can see the innards.

For other Newbies like me,
To play Monkey Island 5 in full glory,
In Blender, File=> , make executable, save to somewhere memorable .
Then open the excecutable file.

I also tried to download the above 'naughty nurse' , but it doesn't work so perhaps it's a wind-up , joke.

Regards,
Brian

Hi, Blengine,

Threepwood looks good.
He doesn't walk very well, slides a bit but that's not very important
It's the humour (even toilet humour) that makes the game enjoyable.
The graphics & the hollywood style also make the game enjoyable IMHO.
I hope you don't get in trouble with copyright law.
