The sound file just skips and then closes the program. I can't figure it out.

padfoot7726: I had a problem with it as well. What i did is i took it into audacity and converted it to a mp3 and then back to wav. you can probably just re export it as a wav and it'll work. I'm not sure why it caused the problem for me.

I have a few questions: Is the focus strictly on animation? I know it's an animation contest, but i started saturday and am currently rendering what i'm hopeing will be my finished product and i did animation and a scene for it, so i'm wondering what the huge time frame is for and if i should be working more on something else..

Crititirozoz: Try to place a greater focus on animation. After all, it's an animation challenge after all!

About the timeframe: From what I've worked out, animation is a generally time-consuming process (to get high-ish quality stuff... of course 'crap' doesn't take long at all). In the past, people have complained about not enough time. And usually, there is only 1 entry in 2 weeks

"Why No"
I didn't choose the script, the sound file was provided. What about the animation?

Crititrozoz, that is strange. Here is a WMV version. BTW I really liked your entry.

AMDBCG, I could not see your video, could you attach a link to download.

If anyone is interested I also am attaching a Blend file with the Frog that I used. The rigging and shape keys were hastely done, but it might work for someone.

Thanks

Busterhymen: Thanks man. I got it to work. I liked it overall. I think the before and after part seemed much slower than the part where the audio clip went, probably just because there was more movement during the audio clip for the lip sync, but great characters!. And i liked the fly intro too. Good job man.

AMDBCG: lol, thats funny...simple, but funny.

@Busterhymen :
okay, here's the .mov (624Kb - right click , save as ) [*I'd prefer you preview this one* ]
and here's the flash video (slightly lower frame rate/quality)
@critrozoz : thanks, I liked yours too - what are they? rabbits? :P the lighting was neat there ...
[let me say again though , I used the KISS principle heavily in my animation ]
