I just added some game textures to my website. Walls, floors, tiles, stone, marble, metal and bricks. 350 plus. Seamless. 256 x 256 png
They are high quality. They were created with the Genetica texture maker. They are free and can be used in both commercial and noncommercial projects. They can be found here

A generic texture is a texture that is made with a program. A non-generic texture would be if you took pictures of real surfaces and then edited them in an image editor to be more suitable for games such as giving them alpha value, making them tilable, and so on.

Yea I was going to mention normal maps would be a good idea
I don't know about the license on the textures that come from http://www.mapzoneeditor.com/ MapZone but you should give those a look as well. |

These textures are a goldmine, thanks.
I decided to first use the concrete triangles, I made a normal map for it in Mapzone.
