Nice start, Kiopaa! Great poses! I just change the last pose, when he start to run, I think it need to be more aggressive because of the anticipation you're using. (sorry my english).

@eversimo : I agree with you, the last pose isn't as I would like, I will change that.

This is some ideas for the first "haie" (I don't know the term in english)

He made it to the end, mostly...

Probably wont have much time to polish it soon so I thought I'd get some comments on it in the meantime. Hope it get's a chuckle. Great rig, thanks.

thank you hessiess. yes a bit, jogging in place is hard to make really interesting. I hope to learn through this challenge to pick up those intricacies and of the physics and behaviors of character animation well enough to start working on my own projects.

Yes on to the next one indeed....

I will be honest im not exactly sure where all this warm up is going, but it will be fun to find out. Does anyone care about motion blur? I am not sure to use it or not.

Alright, for my race I've taken inspiration from ABC's show Wipeout. Crits are highly welcome!

First Blocking Pass

@Jikz
Looking good so far, I like the butt scratch. Try to keep his feet more up and down when he's jogging in place. See if you can hold his stretch for a bit longer too, its kinda hard to read cuz he goes down, bounces around and then comes up quick.

@teldredge
Well I'd thought I'd leave some comments even if you don't have time to get to them. You may want to fix his eyes when he scratches his head. The move independently from eachother, reminds me of a fish. You might also want to stretch out his body when he does his loop, arch his back and stretch out his legs to get some really nice poses.

@uunimagu
Good start! Remember to place the characters center of gravity (the hips) in front of his planted foot a little. A walk/run is essentially catching yourself from falling so have his weight a little bit more forward.

@Kioppa
I love him getting stuck! Everything is pretty good so far just keep adding those poses and agree with eversimo on that last pose of the first vid.

@hessiess
Your vid wouldn't load for me so I will try again later.

I'm new to blender, and I think I disconnected my rig from the arms. At least, they were connected and the arms were animating fine, but now just the rig is animated and the arms are back in the T pose. Can you tell me how to reconnect the rig?
