I have made an article about our game "Ignite". Ignite is a commercial racing game that our team developed (pc platform).

You can find informations about the developing and the contents of the game.
You can find screenshots and some interesting images.

So the link: http://etyekfilm.hu/makingofignite/

You seem to have achieved a great deal considering the time frame and the number of people working on the project. All of the 3d elements look very professional and the graphics overall look very good. I liked the intro video, was it rendered in BI?

It was also interesting to read the break down of all of the assets created. My only concern would be the competition from the large game companies with those established racing game franchises that we all know. Out of curiosity what will your game offer that is different to others in the genre, will it be less expensive, is there going to be online racing options etc? I suppose the ability to target the large blender market in some way would be one advantage that you have.

In terms of blender usage in professional development this does look like its on track to be the most successful so far.

It looks fantastic! I'm surprised you were able to make it with Blender's bad bad interface ;-).

Very impressive project. I really liked that spark plug vid, had to go up and read everything on the page to make sure it was really blender.

Car damage is tricky. We use only a "damage normalmap" texture on the cars. At the collide point we blend this normal map to the car material (per vertex).
The damage normalmap was rendered from a sculpted model, that I sculpt in Blender of course.

I too like the look of the intro movie.
Endi, can you say how the grey, gritty floor was made? Is it displacement, dupliverts, or both?

I still say durian should have a game also.
I've been putting off learning how to link things properly,
but that looks like the way to go, because of the logic bricks...
Even though you're not using blenders engine, you sold me on getting used to linking
