nice work, how did you approach this, rugged old style. I would have thought about modelling it perfect then using sculpt brush on the model to smudge/smear the vertices out in diffrent places to make it look a bit deformed. Really nice out takes also with the test renders. n1! /

Now looking at wires, what funny topology is this? I cant explain it. Imported as a triangulated mess and tried to quadrangulate it? |

I think the funny topology is because he has actually modelled in all the cracks in the wood (which is quite admirable and a bit sick
 ) and sice it's only hard surfaces, topology is less important.
