Hey all, you know that if you have been on irc i have been pushing this a lot.

So here it is, a near final edition that is actually useful.

It has scrolling, documentation for individual scripts (once I write/upload it), easy versioning, and easy script uploads (just mail it to me).

i will have all of the scripts that are built into blender on the server by tonight.

there are instructions on the site:

i forgot:
benefits:
automatically get updates to new and old scripts
discover new features easily. want to know all of the knife scripts? just look for knife in the documents.

to come later:
refine GUI
more scripts, including non-standard ones
more documentation
search documentation (maybe, if this works out)

essentially it will have all of the features of a linux package manager.
if it is necesary, i can include a more sophisticated managing system, including prerequisites and ability to retreive/manage old versions of the scripts (although I don't know why, if a script changes very much, like MH, i can just change the name and reset the versions)

the file naming format is as follows:
name_of_script_SVVV.py
S= a special code (alphanumerical) for future use
V = digits of the version. I don't care how individual script writers name their scripts, they can even use letters for V, it will still work just fine, afaik.
the name can also contain as many '_' as you want, it only uses the last one in the php version (the server code) and just uses the last seven digits of the name in the python version.

the best help is just testing it and reminding me of features to work on, and for you in particular, letting me add your scripts so that people can use this to get all of your neat scripts.

I have tried this and I can't seem to get rid of it and the script won't add the landscape script I got out of the forums here in January.

This looks like BPYMAN did something to it but didn't include it in the useable scripts and unfortunately bpyman 0003 doesn't seem to allow for direct loading and running of scripts.

#!BPY

"""
Name: 'Landscape'
Blender: 234
Group: 'Add'
Tip: 'Create a landscape mesh.'
"""

Never actually added the script though.

The rest seems ok, but if you can't load non-bpyman scripts it really isn't worth it.
