Hello,
For those interested, or more specifically those in the area, I will be giving a presentation over Blender at the Kansas City Apple store in the Plaza Monday, September 11th, 6:00-7:00 pm. I'll briefly be covering the history of Blender and then moving on to some of the major features and uses of Blender and then moving in a live demonstration of it's modeling power. If anyone is interested or would like more info please let me know.
