Decided to do a fast rearrangement with the more original colors + more stuff.
Still pretty poor modeling. Mainly testing some materials (especially the one on
the cape in the background came out pretty well IMHO).
This time, I also thought Wu-Man was worthy of some HDRI...

There seems to be a bit Wu-Man-mania now, so I thought I might jump on the
wagon as well.

Kinda needed to do something different and simpler, so did this during the friday.
I stayed as close to Sagos original design as I could. I like his approach, cause
it looks very much like other well-known superheroes. I though: "If I was to do a
movie about Wu-Man, and I had the budget of superhero movies like Spiderman,
how would I like the mask to look like?". So went about it pretty realistically (not
completely though).

Not really an extraordinary image, but I'm pretty satisfied compared to the timeframe
I wanted to keep it in.

Is the colour banding on the mask a render artifact or a material thing? Very good though, real nice ansitropic brushed base!

awsome model, awsome mood! nice to see a color change up too, but i'm glad you kept some orange........the true color of a super hero with tons of mojo.........for the ladies.......hello girls!

maybe it would be cool to see the mojo belt in the background too, and i was thinking it would look cool and more mask like with black covering the eye opeings instead of grey?

overall, wu is great, your image is great! PROCEED!! FANART!! PROCEED!!

No doubt the ladies will be lining up to see his genital enhancing costume... haha...but I think Super Wu could be a big hit with younger audiences too.
Boring stuff like instructions on how to cross the road safely or tie your shoes could be great fun with a real live super hero showing the way....such talent in our midst going untapped...could be worth a few $ too...
Personally I am hanging out to see the Wu-man fly but after the lamp I am not too sure thats a good idea

Did this new classic version mainly because I didn't do my research quite good
the first time around. I'm not doing Sagos original design, as stated earlier, I'm
doing the one he did for the BWC in this thread. I like the more cool and realistic
look of it compared to the other extremely toony ones.
