This is basically a reprise of the mask from this thread, yet this time around
much more polished + there's a head in it...

Yep, Wu-mania is once again over me, and this time around it's resulted in a
poster for a fictive movie (NOTE: I am not making a Wu-Man movie, just this
poster for the fun of it). It shows a more serious version of the Wu-Man,
which I find interesting as well. Hope you like it.

edit:
Also, who would have known that Wu-Man actually has a real mundane,
casual name?! Hope I've found the right name, heh - like it btw. Could
sound like some movie star.
(Anyone who has their real life name on this poster, please pm me if you're
not comfortable having your name displayed like this)

---
edit -update 26/10-06:
Okay! Worked a bit on it, and posted an update! Tried to do it as well as I could,
without taking too much time. Turned out pretty good, IMO, though I could have
worked a bit more on some things. But decided to call it final here.

He now has real eyes, and a much tighter expression. Also improved some post-
processing stuff + I added a bunch of new gags into it - if you've got sharp eyes,
you might be able to spot the smallest ones as well.
/edit

High-res verion for those of you who want to read every bit of the credits!

And once again credit to Sago for dreaming this character up! Without you,
Wu wouldn't be Wu-Man.

righteous wu-man, man. i can sense by his sullen gaze that his determination to reaquire the mojo is indeed great.

Really cool M.h.p.e., it's fantastic to see such a young artist with this kind of talent.

Because of that I really want to give you a decent critic, even if it's already a great work.

Some parts of the mask seem a bit too round shaped, a bit weird, the eyebrow area for instance. It makes him look a bit like an alien. It could also use more wrinkles between the eyes (instead of just 1), make him look like he's really meaning business.
Showing the eyes is an option. Personally I think it would work better if his enemies could see his eyes.

The "W" is the same round shaped like the rest of the mask, perhaps one with sharp points could make it look meaner and more flashy. So yeah, I think mostly things could be a bit more sharp.

I hope you don't mind me saying all this. You are a great Wu-Man-fanartist (haha), and I'm very anxious to see what your talent will bring us in the future... Wu-Man-fanart or not.

Yeah, Sago said it.

The dramatic look and presentation, however, is excellent!

Really quality work.

I am glad someone posted a wu-man work.
..The Lost Mojo....luv it
I was beginning to think wu-man had faded into a wuz-man.

Speaking of wu what happened to his green screen stuff?
He's got a whole audience out here hanging out to see some of his works and nothing, seems like for weeks.
I want to see that guy fly... you know I mean zoom , woosh
I mean if he can fall down stairs and get up he can fly right...
may be he is saving for a new lamp?
being a super hero can be tough

i normally dont like my name to be known, but i can make an exception for the sake of super wu-man art, haha.

but if you were to change it, i think "super greatness" would be a good alternative.

you have a bright future ahead of you as an artist, keep up the great work.

super greatness has spoken........

bigfan- working on more greenscreen always, i had a complete awsome amazing halloween movie written ready to film greenscreen and all, it was to be brilliant, but the female part got nervous and bailed on me, you know its not easy performing in the company of greatness....more stuff to come..............i promise............greatness

Man, thanks for the great positive feedback guys!!

Sago: Thanks for the great crits, man! Really grateful that you want to spend
time writing them down. I can see the point in every single one of them.
Sadly though, I'm kinda buisy for the days to come, but chances are I'll find
someday soon where I can go and incorporate some of the stuff you've
suggested. Though I can't guarantee that I'll find the time for it. Hope to.

Thanks once again! - especially to Wu-man for being so positive around the
whole fanart nature of this project.

mzungu: Well, no need for nodes. It's been in Blender for ages. Hint: have a
look at volumetric, aka halo, spotlights. I didn't do it this way, because Luce
was a much faster alternative... and fast is really what this project is. (But, as
mentioned earlier, I will try to go back and work a bit more on it...)
