well, sorry about it, your critique is useless, if you came with something like a professional observation please talk to me, because if you keep trying to argue with a layman point of view i ll just dont pay attention.
And as i said i accept the fur critique but unless you give me something usefull about an anatomich error or something, an texture deffect maybe, please dont bother me.
I really dont mind if you dont like my creation, but i dont want to change it i just want to improve it.

Im looking for you chopper now, and now I understand your comment!
Sorry to overvallue your skills as a critique.

I wonder if this is what I sounded like when I was kid.. If so, I sincerely apologize to everyone, specifically acosto, doogs, weirdhat, macke, and a couple dozen others.. Artists are terrible, terrible people.

And sorry about me being rude with the dmills, I really want to be rude, but this is not the right thing to do since he probably was given his trully point of view.
Thanks blengine for the check mate! I ll try to not be so emotive.

Over all I like it but you need to play with the hardness value of the specular settings. I'm assuming that the green stuff is meant to be grass but it looks a bit more like slimy water filled with alge.

Aside from the specularity I think that you've done a great job with this scene.

Well, er, I have this little project of mine I've been working on, I was hoping for some critiques on what obviously needs improvement. I wasn't having much success really getting any critiques from elsewhere (e.g. SFGHQ), but I hadn't thought of asking here yet.

A few of the objects being used in the game were created by other various members of the community, but for the most part, I've been trying not to depend on other people's resources too much. From what I recall, the trees and foliage were by two different people, and some of the water is also by someone from around here, but that's all I can remember at the moment.

Crappy game I made cause I was bored and haven't done anything in blender in forever.

Basically it's a crappy clone of http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/missilegame3d because I'm too lazy to think of any of my own ideas. I might post it here later I dunno...

The point of the game is to steer with the mouse and don't hit shit. You keep going faster and faster till you hit enough shit that you run out of lives.

I loved missile game 3D! The music was great, too, it really added to the overall feeling of action. Your clone better be good D:

But serioiusly, can't wait to check it out. Right now the HUD looks awful bland, but I'm sure you'll remedy that over time. Do you have a thread for the project yet?

It's a shame not many people post here except, well, the guys that actually post the screenshots.

So padfoot, that's not a render? I'm impressed, it looks very nice. It doesn't feel empty or anything, and the detail and overall texture work is splendid. Great work!

Very cool padfoot, and I agree with you ash, it s pretty hard to see people commenting things on this section of the forum.
This is my last work.
On the video I have tried to make it look the most realistic possible ( for me at least) and i think that I got some good results, Please i want to know if itl look real or not, this is a sample of my work, I m trying to get some more clients.

Here is the youtube video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7j3xCTIC3w

It s just a sample.
If you have the time leave a message there.
the image above is the same place that I ll use for a game that Im developing. here is the thread.http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=190336
I hope somone like it.

the roof seem wrong and the floor on the junction dont appear to continue right as the rest of the model, the rest is the same as the previrous reply, is very good.
I think that a little tweaks ll make it look better.

Those modular passage pieces are looking great! I agree with leonnn, though, that the roof and floor don't quite flow together right.

Good work, though!

Hi guys,

Here is a quick work I did for fun.
I was aiming to keep this model very low (2K faces) with little maps (512 maxi for charac and base. Ball is less than 256).

............................................
Finished:
Playmobil

F1 Challenge

Wip:
DELTA the game

@leonnn: I really like you work, I'm curious to how you achieved the effect in post 992.

I'd like to share to screenshots of something a little different, a bit of programmer candy rather than eye candy :P

The following is a (very much WIP) map editor, it uses Moguri's bgui for the GUI. It also makes use of dynamic loading and freeing for adding assets (hence all the load/remove buttons).
