Welcome to the BWC Qualification Thread

BWC Background
The intention of the BWC, is to create a challenge where community members can prove their skills and consistency. For this reason the challenge has previously been over multiple rounds covering multiple topics.

This year the challenge has been reduced to two rounds making it more accessible and exciting to contestants. The two rounds are the 'Qualification' and 'Final' rounds

Qualification Round
If you have won a Blender competition, you have qualified automatically, just PM me a link to the competition you won, then skip the rest.

What you need to do

1) Choose your best entry to any Blender competition (if you haven't entered any, you have a few Weekend Challenges left)
2) Enter the image here in this thread, and PM me with the details as shown Below
3) Wait for voting, and hope you are in the top 50% (or bribethe judges)

Previous entries to the following competitions are acceptable:
Weekend challenges
F1 Challenge
Previous Blender World Cup's
- if you have entered others, such as those from other language forums, feel free to ask and I will assess them on their merits.

PM me with your:

As far as I remember, I have won a contest at our blender.pl site. It was about the greatest Christmass wallpaper, see it here:
http://www.blender.pl/cpg/displayima...?album=3&pos=4
We have had a transfer to a new forum system so there is no thread with contest progres, only the winner render in the gallery.

Alltaken I know you said that the SMC's aren't included in this qualification but don't you remeber how many I have won on the Blender Battles?

Ok, so if it wasn't a good example I have to participate with my 2005 F1 Challenge model, see it here:

The last thing is to cross my finger for myself

Greetings, Greg_pl

I'd say not, since most people create their splash screens from general art they have done which they like..... but i do love your thinking, out of the box, nice to see.

People still have another WC to enter before the deadline

Some nice submissions here everyone. keep them rolling in, they are very promising.

Greg: that is fine, i've had a look at the other forum to check it out. welcome to the BWC

rebogey: Yep you understood correctly, welcome to the BWC

Sure cipix just PM me your details, and I'll add you to the list.

I'll have a list up today of who's applied, and who has entered for qualification.

Oh yeah sorry rebogey, can't have you in the competition yet, just checked the dates on your WC, and you most certainly didn't win it yet :P I overlooked that one before, so sorry for the confusion

Here is my entry.

"My word! It talks!" exclaimed Emperor Dom Pedro of Brazil on June 25, 1876, when he listened to the receiver of this earlt telephone at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition. One of the judges, Sir William Thompson (later Lord Kelvin) called Bell's invention "the most wonderful thing in America."

Sir William Thompson said that after some troublesome adjustments, it was made to speak. I heard the vowel "o" and "to be or not to be," and "there’s the rub."

I'll be back earlier.
