Hi guys,

I've now started documenting my new particles. I'ts still very early, but I'll try to update it allways when I have time to write more.

edit: documentation is now at Blender wiki, feel free to contribute if you know you'r way around my particles I'll try to correct if you get things wrong :P

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Bl...es_Rewrite_Doc

ps. the url may change if somebody sees the need to have the docs in a different place, but since my particles are not yet official I thought that BlenderDev would be the place for them.

Holy crap

Considering all these features in the rewrite is evidence you have been busy

From what I read this makes the old particle system look like a stupid toy.

Well I don't think you have to use the advanced controls if you don't want to, but it would be recommended to learn some of the new controls.

jahka <- I have some idea: You should make page on the Blender wiki, put there this documentation about new particles. This will make possibility to contribute by somebody else to faster make documentation !

Why not build it yourself? It's fairly easy, takes a little time but it's well worth it.

I didn't even know what BOIDS were, so I found this page. It's a pretty interesting read if anyone wants to have a peek.

Lguillaume: you could just mail me the text and I can look it over and post it to the wiki. My engligh is not perfect either, but once the ideas are correctly in the wiki a native english speaker can correct the language. Any content you can provide will be of great help to me!

I would just like to say to the people out there who have lots of knowledge about Blender but are afraid to write about it on the wiki because their English is not perfect: Don't be! Just write! As long as it's understandable, I think all of us will be grateful for your effort. And like Jahka said - when the ideas are on the wiki, anybody who can write English well can correct the language.
There are lots of people among us who can write English well - but there are not that many with detailed knowledge about the advanced features of Blender!

Best regards,
Mikkel
