Can someone tell me where this file (.B.blend) is in Windows? Can't seem to find it. If not, tell me where the default settings are stored so I can delete them.

thnx

Do you need the source code to be compiled on your machine to find this file?

I downloaded the windows EXE and it didnt put that file anywhere on my comp. windows 98 w/ blend 2.25

the file isn't put there when you install. It is put there by blender when you "Save User Defaults" (which will get rid of the splash screen). To do this, in an empty (or default) scene press control+u and confirm. From now on when you start blender it will start with that setup.

Ok, so I can't even start Blender anymore...
Where does it write the settings?

I am using Windows XP....

I don't know what I did, but Blender did work for a couple of days, and now I get an error, and it crashes everytime I start it....

I read that if you deleted .B.blend that you would wipe the settings and get it to work again...

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do now? As it stands now, I can do nothing. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Blender several times, installing different versions, reinstalling my video drivers, deleteing the blender registy entries - all to no success....

thnx
