on my windoze machine i just installed 2.32, install went great but when i use it, it runs great at first but as quick as 5 mins into it it starts... slowing down? maybe a better explanation is it starts jumping? for example, i press the middle mouse button & drag to change my view. sometimes it works great but sometimes it lags... i move my mouse around for a couple seconds and the view does nothing, then it suddenly jumps and my view rotates fine. its starting to drive me nuts! this just isnt right! as i said, it always starts doing this a couple mins into operation...
i've opened up my processes manager, it turns out that when it does this lag/jump, blender.exe jumps from taking very little of my cpu to 99%. memory usage doesnt change.
i have several other versions of blender installed, including 2.31a. blender does not exhibit this behavior in other versions. cpu usage doesnt get above 40% no matter what i try in these other versions. i have an athlon 2600+ processor, 256M ram, and an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro.
Anyone have any idea why its doing this? I guess when it comes down to it i can uninstall & reinstall, but i have the sinking feeling that when i do that, im gonna get the same results. any feedback is appreciated.
