Well I dropped the idea of making a hawk like vehicle. I am going for something else now. Here is an early WIP image
Maybe you can guess what it is supposed to be.

Yes guys you are right. It is a gonna be a motorcycle. Based on a Yamaha gsx r-1000. But I will add some major modifications to make it more F1. A Motorcycle only is not an F1 vehicle so...

A little nquestion: how do you make the screw bump?

your progress is very interesting. I always start with basic shapes and when thei're finished i start with details. There are a screw holes allready and your motorcycle (F1cycle) hasn't wheels at all!
I like the metallic painting also. Drawback of this material is, it lacks shadows. Try to add a sphere blend mapped with Nor coords and using only the Z axe... You'll get darker edges

Ok folks here is a update.
I am busy with the wheel now. (Union you got what you want :P)
Wheel isn´t finished but I think this is it for today (have to learn for prelims :< )

Union: tnx for the tip. though I will do texturing and detailed materials later, i will keep this in my head.

The wheel and the brake disc look great. The ferring looks weird to me. Can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is, but it just seems to be off to me.

tnx, the ferring is ending nowhere, because the wheel has no axle. next update that problem is fixed.

Who's to say that in the future F1 racing doesn't evolve into 2 wheels? or 3. or 1, or hover antigravity engines, or dirty great big jet engines.

As long as it can go fast, then that's surely all that is required?

Nice one cyanid, there is already a lot of detail at this stage of the project. Nice painting and a good modelled wheel. Is the basic shape of the motor subsurfed?

Update: I modelled another frame of the motor. It looks weird, but it defenetly has that shape. However, it seems to have some butches when you look at the reflections. I will have to clean op those, but now I am going to sleep (tomorrow is my birthday )

Well, Select the face you want the hole in, and ectrude the vertices inside, and tada an hole.
