I created an animated short which I thought would be worth sharing with you guys.

The film was animated, rendered and edited with blender. 2D object parts were created using the Gimp and the audio mix was generated by Audacity.

The RAR archive contains a DivX AVI with an MP3 soundtrack.

*WARNING - THIS FILM MIGHT CONTAIN SLIGHTLY OFFENSIVE MATERIAL AND HARSH LANGUAGE TARGETED AT ADULTS*

BTW, the guy is wearing one of these funny T-Shirts ;-)

well...urm... yes. To say I found this funny, would be lying thru my teeth, but it certainly was... uhm... interesting.

Tough I'm sure this one would do with lower res just fine.

This is more like under-16 material than adult. The adult elements are there, but they're arranged in a way that brings me back to age 13. The memories..

Uhh.

How old are you?

And if you can find an adult who thinks this animation is funny, I don't want to meet him.

If a 10 year old of mine made this, I would send him for therapy.
See it then comment!

Browse the forums much skeletor? (Your posts are 20 minutes apart! :-D)

And why would you comment without watching?

Alright, after watching it I must say that it was not the sort of thing that *I* would post here. I didn't laugh even once so I can't say that it was funny.

I wouldnt say that it was TERRIBLE tho.

Ok, I just watched it and the thing horrified me. Now I have this nagging twitch that won't go away, and I'm dreading going to sleep tonight because of the nighmares that I know are coming.

That being said, here are some useful crits. Pepe's voice is too loud. I turned my volume up to hear the other guy and then "AHHHHH, PEPE!" I thought my head was going to explode. The animation is decent, though the models were poorly done.

It looks like it was hurried. You definately should take more time and work on your modeling. 2D is fine, but if you're going to post something like this, atleast make something that people would look at and say, "That was just horrible, but the models and animation techniques used were cool."

All and all, I give this a big two thumbs way down. And my god, man! You need therapy!

Funny? no --- Humerous? maybe to a person tripping on acid --- Stupid and pointless? most definately --- Worth watching, or will ever be watched by me again? no --- So I conclude.....absolutely, everything above. And you should never post something like this again unless you want to be hated..........maybe im being to mean....or maybe the video just horrified me and I am taking it out on its owner ---- oh well

If you have windows "7 zip" opens almost all archives, and is free.
I use it myself, just thought I would pass it on.

First of all, I didn't RAR it, my cousin did (he also worked on this "film"). I personally think RARing files is okay for personal archives, but when you publish something like a movie that has undergone strong compression anyway, you shouldn't compress it at all. Especially not using an oddball format like RAR. The only exception would be if you uploaded it to one of these "free web hosting" sites, where you would want to hide things like AVI and MPG files (and in that case you should simply zip it) ;-)

Senor Bumnut will get his very own homepage soon (oh, THE HORROR), so this will be fixed.

The "film" itself was put together within three days. It was one of these "just for fun" type projects. And yes, it was extremely rushed because we also had to create a www.triggerstreet.com account, create the QuickTime version, review some shorts to be allowed to upload this, etc. We had watched a few of the short films there; a lot of them are cool little masterpieces, but some are kind of pseudo-"artsy" in a pretentious way and look like they were made in an even shorter amount of time with even LESS effort than our flick. So we wanted to make a little statement based on that and create some controversary. Originally, all I wanted to do is make a movie using crappy still images created in Paint and finish it in one night. None the less, we had a blast making this little flick and finished the "production" with aching stomache muscles.

So please don't take this "movie" seriously - after all, it was SUPPOSED to be a piece of total rubbish. Thanks for the crits anyways. There were quite a few little things in this movie I wanted to change or add, but we totally ran out of time. Another Senor Bumnut and PePe adventure is currently in production which will have a longer runtime, scene changes, fancy cinematography, neat editing, and a script that I already spend more time writing than I spend animating this "film". Yeah, I know, that sounds quite pretentious as well ;-)
