Another Weekend Challenge, another entry. This one for #103, 'Cyberpunk'.

This is the biggest render I could manage on my old laptop before the deadline. Will do a bigger one later. All comments and critiques are welcome.

It's actually really good! The anti-aliasing is terrible though, up the OSA value and maybe add some gaussian.

I like it! The rebel attitude is quite easy to spot.

I would have liked the hand to the right to be a bit more visible, it's almost totally hidden in the shadows now.

Totally agree about the antialiasing. I will definitely get around to doing a more high quality trender once I have something other than my Pentium 1 laptop to work with ...

Yes, the lighting does need some work to make things clearer.

Thanks for the comments guys... It's great to know what flaws are seen by a fresh pair of eyes. Staring at the scene for long as your working on it sort of starts making you see what you would like to see.

Keeping in mind many of your comments and suggestions, here is an update of my cyberpunk image. The ligting setup is actually unchanged. I did, however, work on the material settings for the hand, and added in some atmosphere with the glow.dll sequence plugin.

I've come across many people on the forums who feel that the human hand is their personal modelling nightmare, so here are some wire shots of the hand model used in the image. I hope it helps some of you tackle the hand with more confidence in the future.

Let me know what you think of the update.
